Last year, I focused on lowering debt and saving more money. This year I plan to save even more, but my primary focus will be on investing for the future. After all, who doesn’t like their money to work for them? After reading and researching on the internet, I stumbled across Robinhood. I have always wanted to own individual stocks, and now I do, thanks to them!

If you haven’t heard already, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has unveiled a multi-million dollar college admissions scandal — code name: Operation Varsity Blues.

The FBI reportedly discovered wealthy parents and high-profile celebrities like Felicity Huffman (from Desperate Housewives) and Lori Loughlin (from Full House) were paying millions to a man named William Rick Singer and his company called The Key. With Singer and his company’s assistance, they were able to fake athletic profiles, bribe coaches/administrators, and cheat on entrance exams for prestigious colleges.

Update (3/26/2019): All charges have been dropped against Jussie Smollett! No word on what transpired. Court records have been sealed according to his attorney.

Update (2/21/2019): Jussie Smollett has turned himself in to Chicago police this morning. He is now facing a felony charge of disorderly conduct after allegedly filing a false report.

According to Chicago police superintendent Eddie Johnson, the “Empire” actor staged the attack because he was dissatisfied with his salary.
